101 WEST MAIN     CROSBYTON, TX    79322

Crosby County Pioneer Museum is a big name for a small but dynamic and very contemporary museum.  Nestled in the center of Crosbyton, Texas "on the square" is the 17,681 sq. ft. facility that serves as a community center as well as a home for some 45,000 artifacts.

On any given day you might find tumblers ages 3-12 perfecting their gymnastic routines in the auditorium, a Lions Club meeting with lunch being served, a Christmas bazaar in full regalia, or a tour of foreign students from the nearby University.  In addition to the Wayne J. Parker Collection of Native American artifacts, the museum showcases a 1908 Brush Automobile, a breath-taking diorama of Blanco Canyon, a half-dugout reproduction, and the story of peoples who made the Llano Estacado their home for more than 700 years.  If you think that this is an exciting and memorable place to visit, you're absolutely right!
